As a member of the Orangeville Tennis Club (OTA), I agree to abide by the following rules and guidelines.
All club members, or anyone who participates in ay of the programs, must sign a waiver. Visit the Registration Page to download a waiver form.
Members will be notified of the gate lock combination. Members must not divulge the combination code to anyone.
The courts are open to members and authorized users. Any other use must be authorized by the President. The junior after school programs in May and June, as well as the tennis summer camps offered by the Club Pro, are open to the public and a parent must sign a waiver for each child to participate.
Occasional guests are permitted when accompanied by a member. There is no cost. Members must ensure that their guest(s) comply with the OTC Rules & Guidelines and accompany them at all times while at the club.
The courts are open from sunrise until 11 pm. The court lights are on a timer and will be turned off at that time. If you are not sure how to turn on the lights, ask another member to show you. Please turn off the lights if you are the last one to leave.
Appropriate shoes are required: athletic shoes with non-marking soles. Denim, cut-off shorts, muscle shirts and offensive wording or logos are NOT allowed.
Alcohol and drugs are not permitted on the Courts.
Loud, abusive or profane language and abuse of a racquet or a ball are not permitted.
Members and guests must abide by the Ontario Tennis Association (OTA) rules of tennis etiquette and fair play as posted in the Clubhouse and as found at the following link: https://www.tennisontario.com/players/resources/tennis-etiquette.
The OTA Rules of the Court shall apply to all match play. The Rules of the Court can be found at the following link: https://www.tennisontario.com/players/resources/rules-of-the-court.
Members and guests must abide by the laws against discrimination on the basis of culture, race, socio-economic status, gender, age or ability as defined by the Ontario Human Rights Code.
